Lead Product Manager – Open
We are supporting this senior product hire for an Embedded Finance product led, FinTech business based in Europe and across central Europe. They are award winning and dual regulated with the core teams based in London, Portugal and Ireland. Due to expansion they are increasing the capacity and capability within the SLT and are now looking to hire a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategic vision and product experience.
You will be a Lead Product Manager who puts customers needs and the wider business objectives at the core of decision making. You will understand and measure the overall impact the product and product potential has on the customers and commercial potential of the organisation.
The mission is to use technology to bring essential financial risk management products that everyday businesses need, in a way that’s easy for them to understand.
This role will lead on:
- Product Vision and Strategy and alignment to business objectives.
- Designing and building product features and capabilities.
- Understanding and representing user needs.
- Lead product marketing team and product marketing services.
- Responsible for achieving or exceeding agreed product KPIs improvements across all the products managers.
- Manage stakeholders around the vision for the product.
- High-level requirements and co-ordinate with Business Analyst for fine-grain criteria and approval.
- Monitoring the market and developing competitive analyses.
- Building insights for stakeholders on products and market place / positioning.
- Daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews and retrospectives.
- All aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues alongside team.
- Work alongside senior technical lead development team with any questions they may have.
Essential experience
- Experience working on products within the FinTech industry.
- Managed and led agile teams (including Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing and QA)
- Excellent communication skills – you are comfortable being challenged and will raise the bar
- Experience working high growth, fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge and experience of product management best practice and methodologies and strong technical acumen.
- Technically competent to influence and understand the solution context and approach and aid engineering in estimating the complexity of work being requested
- Hands-on experience with Analytics tools to inform decision-making and insight
- Experience designing and building products from scratch
- Experience improving ways of working and internal product process
- Experience in building/ hiring, coaching a team of Product Managers
